Communications

Communications at Première Urgence Internationale is both exciting and demanding. As true ambassadors, Première Urgence Internationale's Communications Officers aim to develop the organization's reputation, contribute to fund-raising among the general public, and increase the attractiveness of the NGO as an employer, both at headquarters and in the field.

The 8-strong head office team has a wide range of technical skills, from copywriting to webmarketing, video editing, press relations and event management.

Based on the organization’s current situation and its missions, the team identifies high-impact, contemporary communication initiatives, tailored to the relevant targets. Based on a multi-year strategy, it aims to develop its audience and the general public’s awareness of the major crises affecting vulnerable populations around the world.

Our mission is to promote the values and principles of Première Urgence Internationale. Our communications officers at headquarters and in the field play a key role in raising awareness, mobilizing existing resources and promoting a positive image of the organization.

The communicator makes a significant contribution to the organization’s visibility and credibility. By informing and mobilizing the public, he or she helps the NGO achieve its objectives, be they awareness-raising, fund-raising or advocacy.
