Gender equality index

In accordance with the French law of September 5, 2018 for the freedom to choose one’s professional future and its implementing decree of January 8, 2019, aimed at eliminating pay gaps between women and men, Première Urgence Internationale publishes its Gender Equality Index.

What does this index consist of?

The gender equality index is a score out of 100, based on 4 indicators:

  • Gender pay gap (out of 40 points).
  • The gap between the rates of increase for men and women (35 points).
  • Increases on return from maternity leave (15 points).
  • The presence of women among the company’s highest earners (10 points).
