IT & Information system

Information systems (IS) are driven by a strategy of innovation within Première Urgence Internationale. Through a variety of activities, the IS squad supports head office and field teams, providing the tools and data needed to respond effectively to the needs of the populations we support.

The IS team provides technical support to maintain the IT infrastructure, enabling operations to run uninterrupted in all the countries where we operate. This means providing technical assistance to users to solve day-to-day IT problems, and securing the network to prevent cyber-attacks.

In order to optimize our activities, Première Urgence Internationale is developing its applications and digitalizing its processes. The information systems department supports operations in planning, executing and evaluating IT projects, in collaboration with the field and other departments.

As innovation lies at the heart of the IS business, we are constantly monitoring and exploring new technologies to ensure that we are able to respond to all accessibility and security issues.

In our operating areas, information systems are managed by our national teams through functions that are either totally dedicated to information systems and IT asset management, or attached to logistics activities, depending on the volume of business.

At our organization’s head office, the IS department is made up of IT technicians and specialists, including a roving position that can be deployed on the various missions, as well as generalist and specialist application project managers, depending on the projects being rolled out.
